ABOUT
Natalie Caroline Wilkins is a costume designer and stylist. Born and bred in London to a German Japanese mother and an American father. Currently based across London and New York.
Having studied a degree in fashion design, her advanced costume making skills enable her to turn the most challenging designs into reality. She understands the importance of maintaining the director’s vision, while ensuring cohesion across all departments and supporting the actor’s understanding of character. Her deep interest for psychology helps her to develop unique yet authentic characters.
Natalie started out working in fashion, creating high-tech costumes for artists Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire and director Melina Matsoukas. After successfully moving up to senior fashion designer at the age of 22, she decided to pursue a freelance career as a stylist & costume designer in music videos and commercials. All whilst running a successful leather fetishwear clothing range.
Since 2020 she has been working in feature films where she quickly established herself, working across award winning contemporary and period films. Production companies include; Netflix, Amazon, Caviar, Pulse Films, 42 M&P Ltd, Neon Films, Spectrevision, Fred Films, Agile, Smuggler, Somesuch, RSA and many more.
Previous clients include; Ferrari, Pepsi, McDonalds, Samsung, Atlantic Records, Christina Aguilera, Dev Patel, Katherine Waterston, Minnie Driver, Simon Pegg, Skepta, Ed Sheeran and many more.
